I think Drury saw the writing on the wall with the leadership (including Goodrow) last year, and after the Panther series. He addressed it but Troubas wife got in the way and now perhaps the residency thing is over as of Jan 1st? Maybe that’s what this is all about

Maybe Krieder and Trouba had some in fighting too? Idk. But Kreider won in essence if that happen lol

I think it would be prudent of them to have the "C" ready to be slapped on someone else's jersey ASAP. I don't think it can be Kreider anymore. It should have been him originally, but, no. Laf or Cuylle would send the message that the guard is changing. With that being said, they won't name one at all
