So Trouba’s minutes are going to need to be accounted for.

One thing you can say about Trouba was that he was a horse and he ate major minutes.

Mancini only played 10. Fox 25.

This also cant turn into just burning Fox into the ground and having him exhausted by the playoffs, and then everyone wants to poop can Lindgren too, another minutes eater

Good luck getting that out of your house

Lmao! So true.
Those things were absolute beasts!!

I have a 55" TCL in the living room and a 40" Insignia in the bedroom. They are both fine. But, I do 80% of my viewing in the basement with the 150" projection on the wall. Love it. Watching a game is like sitting in the stands!

Agreed. Really like Mancini’s game, but he still needs some time in Hartford. Schneider Fox and Mancini on the right for the next 5+ years though will be nice once Mancini is ready. The left side is a mess. Miller not panning out the way we hoped is a big problem and Lindgren will likely be gone next year.

Back in college we had a 65” rear projection lcd. I took it to 3 apartments and then back to my parents house after grad school. Dumbest poop ever. They had flat screens LEDs at that point

Provorov was injured in their game against Vancouver last night. Speculation is that he has a broken thumb.

I don’t even want to attempt to spell his name but maybe the new guy from Anaheim can fit into what Lavi/Housley are trying to reconfigure back there

I like how he is a stay at home d man. As long as he can skate and pass the puck efficiently I have no problem with him being on the 3rd pair. He has a decent amount of nhl experience

Since we have some cap space, would anyone be willing to trade othmann and Smith for Marchand? Obviously Boston would need to fall out of it, which is possible. Seems to me they need to look at a retool/rebuild

I say Marchand for a number of reasons- one being leadership. One being he’s a dyck on the ice and one he can score

Or are we not willing to trade picks and or prospects.

Othman doesn’t have the value you think he has. It’s gonna take Perault to land Marchand. And this team is already stacked with left wings

He's small and getting slow. Hard pass for me.

I don’t think it would cost Perrault and if it did that’s the hardest no ever lol

We don’t need a borderline roster player to replace Lindgren we need a top pairing LD to compliment Fox. Vakanakhrjtdkukut is a depth D, which you can never have too many of. But he’s not the solution

Outside of Perrault and maybe Emery cause he is fresh and raw still the rangers don’t have prospects many teams covet. Also have little draft capital. The only way the rangers can bring in legit nhl talent is to move players like Kreider, Miller right now in trades. Best solution may be to wait till the summer to use the cap space

I don’t think he is ready to be a full time nhl defenseman. Think he would benefit from AHL seasoning if this team thinks they are a playoff team

Perhaps. UV is a LD though and he’s never really been able to stick around anywhere

Rangers could get something pretty good with Berard in the trade imo. He looked like an NHLer (top 9)

He played 10 mins last night and Fox was about 26 mins. If Lavi doesn’t trust Mancini Jimbo is right they need to look to add another d man. You can’t wear out players like Fox all season if you want to make a deep playoff run

I think if he shows from now until March he can stick and play at the nhl level then yes I agree.

I agree that they need another d man but on the left side and to pair with Fox. Schneider can eat minutes too. Mancini probably played so little because he literally was called up the same day

I’m very scared Fox will breakdown like Lindgren has over time. He plays way too much and played way too much last year. He’s not the biggest or fastest guy, to elude and handle contact well, and this is why I bring him up as a trade. I know it’s unlikely but I think we’re asking for trouble down the road here with Foxy
