Fox doesn’t play the way lindgren does cmon man. We understand this right?

Dude he’s already slowing down. How many year does he have left? It’s alot

They need Schneider to be the top pair guy, as soon as next year. It’s almost a must

I’m very scared Fox will breakdown like Lindgren has over time. He plays way too much and played way too much last year. He’s not the biggest or fastest guy, to elude and handle contact well, and this is why I bring him up as a trade. I know it’s unlikely but I think we’re asking for trouble down the road here with Foxy
- Slimtj100

I don’t think Fox will necessarily break down like Lindgren will, but you’re right that we can’t run him into the ground. We need to find some big physical stay at home dmen that can eat minutes.

He’s literally just slow. If you mean production wise it’s the whole team basically. His partners have been crap

look what happen with the Jensen hit. I still don’t think he recovered from that ffs

And it’s not his production I’m worried about, it’s his defensive abilities

Miller has really killed the left side for us. I really thought he was going to be a top 4 shutdown type guy. There’s still time for that and I don’t think it’s bc he doesn’t have the talent to be that, I think it’s all mental with him.

He looked a little better last night. But to give him a raise next year is a very risky proposition at the moment

I’d trade him for Provorov right now even with a broken thumb and re-sign Provorov instead

I don’t want to give up on Miller. The raw talent is there to be a top 4, possibly even a top pair dman. Maybe he just needs the right partner and he can still become that, but I think his problems are mental and he needs to get that squared away first.

We may have talked about this before, but he needs to lift weights and get bigger because he could be a force if he were stronger. He seems very weak for a man his size

I agree what makes him so appealing is the talent he can ooze at times, but it’s sooooooo inconsistent. I can’t remember a more inconsistent defenseman in my years of watching this team. He’s very much like Kakko so maybe he’ll finally put it together in the nick of time like Kakko did

Fox is 26 and has been elite every year except this one. Schneider hasn’t shown one time he is anything other than a 4.

Trade miller for Rasmussen Anderson slot him on top pair

I’m just saying that in 2-3-4 years from NOW, Fox will be even slower and more beat up. They at least need to ease his ice time to 20 minutes tops over the next couple of seasons

If Schneider isn’t a top pair guy by next year they’re in an awful lot of trouble

Rangers could get something pretty good with Berard in the trade imo. He looked like an NHLer (top 9)

So heres the question, are we going to continue to strip down the good young assets we have for another likely failed run or are we going to hold onto our assets, try to cut ties with the dead weight first?

We’re going to look back on today in like 2-3 years and say hmm TJ was right

Do you look at his facial expressions during games? He looks defeated very often out there. Like tired. Beat up.

Ignore it it’s fine lol but he is playing too much. But at the same time they have no choice, but they simply cannot let him play this much forever.

He doesn’t look nearly like the Norris trophy candidate, like I said since the Jensen knee on knee

I think this year is definitely not like last year where your right. The next two months before the TDL is evaluating where they stand

Unlike last year, in no way would I trade the first rd pick this year. Hell to the no

Fox may age poorly due to big minutes. He doesn’t take many hits tho. Get him a competent partner and reduce some of his ice time on the PK

Build around Fox Igor Laf cuylee Edstrom kakko jones Schneider. Vets are kreider and Tro. Keep Perrault.

Panarin as well but could go another route if marner or Eichel shake free

The rest idc

What kills me is I wanted this team to go out and get Kiefer Sherwood so badly, currently has 13 pts, 7 goals, in 25 games and leads the league in hitting. Making a hopping 1.5m per.

They went like 4 years without a captain after trading McDonagh. Theres no chance we getting a new captain unless they trade for one, *cough*Brady*cough*.
