Personally, I think Trocheck has right attitude to be a solid assistant capo. Im not sure anyone on defense is worthy of an 'A' honestly. As much as I love Fox, he seems more like a passenger than a driver.

I don’t think Miller will ever be the player we want. He’s very soft. He’s 6’5 going on 5’8. It’s his make up.

I dont really think so either. Not Panarin, not Fox. If they dont trade for someone, Trocheck would be who Id pick. He has that attitude that you need for a captain, he doesnt look like the type to shy away from confrontation and getting in someones face. I feel like if LAF were to get in my face and yell at me, I might burst out laughing.

Kreiders time passed. Should’ve been him instead of Trouba. Now his contract is up in a few seasons. Trocheck maybe but I still think a kid is more meaningful

Trouba was a good captain. Only the salary cap undermined him. If he was earning 4 1/2 million, he would still be captain

IMO they should go with 3 "A" s until they see how the season plays out. No sense in naming an official captain that could get traded if the downward slide continues.
