Yes he was .. but going forward I believe that the Captain will be Zellweger ... the kid is magnetic and really embodies the qualities of a C.

Gudas for Trouba ... I would do that - Trouba could play with Minty or LaCombe or Baby Z... and run some protection for any of those kids.

I disagree. I think it's obvious and well-known that the players value Trouba. This is an emotional, sobering day for all of them regardless of how it plays out. I think tonight will be a tough game for them. We will need a few more to see the real impact.
That being said, I think the fact that they are playing Pitt tonight will actually mitigate the effect of losing Trouba. Against less of a rival, there might have been more room for personal emotions.
