All in all, we're screwed. We should all just accept that and say "see ya" in 3 or 4 years to this team - t-dawg
For a second, when we were up, they looked like they had energy and a bit of a pep in their step. However one team wanted it more and when the pressure was put on, they folded. |

Our team plays heartless with no passion or drive.
Been saying that for years!!!! - Brukie
Have to think it will take a coaching change to fix this, along with a roster overhaul. But we can't really pull the fire coach trigger yet. We need to add a JT Miller or Larkin or Tkachuk type player, and probably have to cut ties with Panarin and replace his money with tougher goal scoring winger after next season. |

“The Rangers clearly moved Trouba to get in fully on JT Miller who has fallen out a favor in the Vancouver big time after confrontations with Rick Tocchet.
No, the Rangers are not done. I am still hearing Kappo Kakko, a prospect and a pick to Vancouver…”
From yesterday but just saw it earlier - picklerick
NOT HAPPENING with J.T. Miller, nor possibly any other Canuck.
The only key Ranger who Vancouver was interested in acquiring in some kind of package trade is KREIDER. He reportedly nixed a deal to them prior even to Trouba being dealt two days ago.
Per "NHL Insider," Rick Dhaliwal, Kreider likely exercised his 15-team NTC, for which he believes Vancouver is one of them.

If its true they tried to trade Kreider, then the issues are not coaching based but player based. Theres also reports that they arent actively shopping Mika but theyll entertain offers. The players have to know this.
We got some rough times ahead of us. |

Rangers have been soft ever since torts left - nyrangers2
I liked the Vigneault years. Maybe still a bit soft, but that was a fun era. |

This era has been fun as well. Just doesn’t seem they are built to win it all. Fun dance hockey with a lot of offense. No forecheck, winning puck battles or defense. They don’t play like Florida or Vegas. More like the leafs |

How many coaches does this core go thru?
The problem isnt adding players, we have players that have skill and can score, we need then to step up and play better hockey.

Rangers don’t play the right way in the top 6. Zero two way hockey. Add in a bottom 5 dcore they lose when scoring 5. They even looked better majority of this game and lost |

Tanner Glass brah!
Also Nash played a heavy game and Kreider was a force back then.
Staal and Girardi as well. |

But that was inherited from Torts. |

Trade : Kreider Lindgren Jones Vesey Zib
Panarin Trochek Laf
Cuylle Chytil Kakko
Edstrom Carrick Bedard
Schneider Miller
Fox
Mancini
This is what we’d be left with. Make the lines how u want them, make the pairs how u want them. Get a real #1C and get players to fill the rolls we need.

Why are we trading jones?
Why is mika accepting a trade?
Who is taking Mika in a trade?
Why trade vesey when he makes nothing?

I think the Rangers are/were trying to move Kreider first because they think that would loosen up Mika for a possible trade by getting rid of his BFF. |

Bc having 2 small/undersized puck moving defensemen doesn’t get u anywhere, especially come playoff time.
Mika doesn’t have to accept a trade, he can talk to Goodrow and Trouba about that.
Bc Vesey also provides nothing. Get the 3rd round pick at the deadline and move on. |

Except the team has no leverage on Mika. All they can do is buy him out. |

Jones is the only LD that isn’t a problem
Mika cannot be waived or traded or bought out
Vesey provides at minimum a body making under $1m and does not fetch you more than a 6th rounder at the deadline. Find someone to start over him, sure. Trading him is nonsensical |

You jettison Miller as far away as you can. Keep CK20 because he shows up in the playoffs, Make Mika retire or at least get a haircut. Lindgren is gone anyway. |

Is that report true that Dylan Larkin is requesting a trade?!
Drury now has cap space hmmm - TPC
He's from Detroit and signed long term there to be the leader of that club. He's not going anywhere. |

For all the trade Fox folks who are you getting in return that can come close to any sort of replacement |

You make it sound like we have a plethora of assets to trade that have any value.
And what of a trade, to do what? Shock the team? That was done already the other day when they traded the only player who threw any hits!!! - Brukie

Hope they can move Lindgren at the TDL instead of walking away at the end of the season, that would be another bad look for Drury. |

Potentially one expiring contract for another, like Provorov for Lindgren. Downside to Provorov is he is not a physical Dman, but he eats minutes and played all 82 games several times. |
