I don't like the way Sanheim and York look together to be honest. I don't think the Flyers can do something different but Sanheim looked alot better with Risto.

You didn't like the way Sanheim/York looked yesterday against Boston? They were dominant.

Nah, every loss is good for the Flyers long term. 2nd night of a back to back.

Dumb point by you since Utah also played yesterday. so, you think Frosty still doesn't have a compete problem?

A player is best judged over a large sample. Frost does not have an issue with give aways. He is normally one of the better players managing the puck. He actually played well tonight besides the blunder. His line was the Flyers best line in the game
- MJL

I think the Frost line was the most dangerous line, but to me that was driven more by Tippet's legs and Michkov's vision.

I'm shocked by that.

At least 3 or 4 times this game I watched Frost skate the puck up the ice, get broken up at the Utah blue line and the puck is going the other way. I call them give-aways. There is just no offense from this guy, he really is all fluff and no stuff. Great move through his legs behind his own net, rushes the puck up the ice, makes a move or two and then shoots the puck wide.

tip has been guilty of that too.

All the giveaways. There is plenty of room for criticism for Frost this season but giveaways are not one of them. You just make poop up.
- MJL

Frost seems to tense. He is to afraid to make mistakes. Torts has destroyed his fragile physche.

I'm just saying I didn't like the way looked tonight, nor against Florida and I think Sanheim plays better with Risto. But it's 3 games in 4 nights, so I bet a lot of players didn't have their A game tonight. I thought Risto and Andrae was the Flyers best pairing tonight, and Drysdale was moving; though of course he has had plenty of rest.

There is no reason for Michkov and Tippett to be broken up- so.of course, I expect it to happen next game.

Luchanko is still the second best center in the organization. That is a severe problem at the moment- not sure how quality depth is added. This upcoming draft is turning out to not be a deep draft.

I don't think he is fragile but I think there is zero chance he will take a step here. Tortorella has ruined any chance of that. I hope they trade him. He needs a change of scenery to have any chance at improving.

Oh stop it already .. no real professional lets a coach destroy them. That overskate by Frost was not due to a fragile physche, you don't try that play unless you are a confident player. Frost just took his eye off the puck. It happens. Would have been nice for Ersson to make a save there.

But Tippet makes up for it, e.g. 4 goals in the past 4 games. Frost has 10 points in 23 games this year!

Tough save for the goalie there. I mean, he's probably as surprised as anyone. Frost needs to go, but I fear that no one wants him. Perhaps he's tanking on purpose, so he can't be traded. He likes Philly, but just doesn't like playing hockey all that much cause it's a bunch of meanies that play aggressive!! Friggin sissy!

When Ristolainen and Sanheim have been paired together, the results have been poor.

Couts for now. Might not be in a few years. We can argue on the rankings, but they are nowhere close to.being a contender with the current center organizational depth chart. This is shaping up to not being a deep draft. So if the game plan is to find the next Sebastian Aho (#1 center drafted outside top 10-Aho drafted in 2nd rd) in the upcoming draft- good luck

You're comparing a 4 game stretch for one player versus a 23 game stretch for another. Tippet has 14 points in 26 games. A whopping 4 more points. Tippett has also been very inconsistent and has had significant stretches of ineffective play this season.

Torts defends Frost post game, said he was happy with his play and he wouldn't make that overskate the rest of his career. Torts however is down on Foerster, said he is around too many mistakes out there, needs to be better.

Couts? Really? Honestly, Cates is the best center on this team right now. He may not have the offensive upside, but Cates is the most solid center the Flyers have.

Frost is not a goal scorer, he is a playmaker. Frost has shown he has the skill to lead the team in scoring over a significant period of games as well as chip in goals.

Couts would be a third line center on almost every other team in the NHL. It's amazing that an organization known for always having center depth has stooped to this level. This team has to play balls to the wall every night just to compete and it really doesn't matter the opposition as tonight illustrated as plain as day.

Yah, they say Frost is a playmaker. How do you compare Frost's playmaking skills to Michkov's? I don't think Frost is anywhere close.
