If Lavy gets canned they’ll give Peca the job. Idk how much difference that’ll make
I will say before Lavy, zib was a solid NHL player and now he’s barely worthy of a regular shift so maybe he’s negatively affected some guys.
Idk what they should do all I know is this season is spiraling to the point of out of control. - Slimtj100
I’m in total disbelief that this team didn’t show up even in the 3rd period. They didn’t have any offensive zone time. They couldn’t score an even strength goal against a team that is absolutely garbage. We are the worst team in hockey right now and it’s not even close. |

I forget which loss it was after but apparently Lavy was 10-15 minutes late for the presser after the game and it’s bc Drury was waiting for him after the game and they got into it. Or should I say what was reported which was “they spoke after the loss” - nyrangers9479
Hi "nyrangers9479."
I believe that postgame delay of Lavy speaking to the press occurred after their 5-1 home loss last Monday to the Devils. If not that one, it was after their 5-2 loss to the Blues two Mondays ago; after returning from that Seattle/Western Canada road trip, where they were dominated excessively in its final two CGY & EDM game losses shot attempts wise, & also yielding 20+ SOG alone in the 1st Period's of each. |

I wouldn’t trade Kreider personally but something with this team needs to change. I don’t get it. It’s as if they have given up. Idk if last season is still weighing on them. Idk if it’s the fact they have had somewhat decent runs the last 3 seasons and are just mentally exhausted. Because from my standpoint that’s what exactly it looks like. They just look over it. As if they don’t want to be on the ice. I can’t remember the last time a player got in front of a shot to block it. The defensemen aren’t blocking out around the net and just aren’t moving there feet. It just looks awful all around. - Awolff9

I found it funny Panarin went after that Hawks player and hit him, imagine having a player who can actually lay out some big hits!! |

Rangers have talent and the problem is they rely too much on it to win. No enough effort playing the right way. They are 3rd in the league in chances for. Just terrible defensively |

You shed Barclay Goodrow, who won Stanley Cups and was arguably your best player in the playoffs last year. The fact is, you need a few more of those guys to win.
The team has talent and great guys, they have minimal heart and grit.
Watching Boston and NYR self destruct is amusing to me, as it is exhausting listening to the felating ESPN hockey analysts fawning over them all...while they have won nothing.
Igor, good for you getting your money. Best goalie...hardly. Win something.
Glad I am a Tampa fan, 10 years of being relevant and a real threat to win a cup. 4 finals appearances and 2 conference finals game 7 losses.
If this years lighting team stays healthy, they will be better/as good as, their teams that won the cup. |

this team is an absolute mess - i dont support firing lavy but at this point, what else can be done? trading their awful captain obviously didn't have much of an impact.
just an observation from last night; fox has been awful this year, continuing his bad play from the playoffs last year (which we attributed to the knee injury). watching how other teams defend 23/55 is comical to me, and just heightens the need for 55 to go and get fox a partner who can actually play. in the offensive zone, fox is basically double teamed every time he gets the puck, the wings crash fox and eliminate the possibility of a shot, leave 55 open for the expected pass, knowing there is nothing he will do with it. a soft shot on goal is the best outcome.
how many more times will 93 try the one timer off the wall? you'd think panarin, after seeing 93 either miss the pass entirely, miss the net by 3 feet, or break his stick, would tell him to get the (frank) off that spot and take it from him. |

The fact that Lavi refuses to replace zib with laf on powerplay 1 is a fireable offense in itself.
Also the goalie is pulled and you need a goal last night and will cuylle your best player right now is on the bench.
I’m done with Lavi too, he is pandering too much to the vets. He deserves to go down with the ship |

I can’t remember the last time I hated a Ranger player more than Zib. Wanted him gone 3 years ago for Eichel when he was still actually good. Now he is just a corpse out there for 6 more years. You can’t make this up lol |

Even if mika agreed to be traded, WHO WOULD TAKE 6 YEARS OF THIS???? Even if he made $4m, it wouldn’t be worth it |

I said it soooooo many times last night to get Zib off the ice. He is just lost out there. Miller puck watches, not physical, Lindgren was ok.
I don't like to lose games, let me get that out of the way, but at least show you are trying. They do not play like they give a sh!t.
So odd since they came blasting out of the gate when the season began. |

Maybe he needs to do what JT Miller did and step away for a while...physically. He's already mentally checked out for some time now. |

For those clamoring for a trade, wake up!! They made the "shock" trade last week essentially getting rid of the supposed problem player in Trouba. There is no trade that will give these players heart and drive, they just dont have it. There is really only one option left, fire Lavy and Drury. That is the last real option they have.
Watching CK20's interview after the game was a real eye opener, he had no answer, just the look of disbelief in his eyes.
Miller and Mika need a few nights off, its just incredible how their play is really leading this team into the abyss!! |

Zib was LETHAL from that spot, almost Ovi lite. If Ovi were 50 years old and his only job was to rip shots from that spot he would still be a threat. I don’t think it’s age with Zib, he’s lost all confidence. It’s now affecting every part of his game. Thats what makes me think he could find it again. If anyone has worked in a toxic work environment, its nearly impossible to bring your best to the office. It’s no coincidence that nearly every player is underachieving, I just don’t see how they fix it. |
