Zib was LETHAL from that spot, almost Ovi lite. If Ovi were 50 years old and his only job was to rip shots from that spot he would still be a threat. I don’t think it’s age with Zib, he’s lost all confidence. It’s now affecting every part of his game. Thats what makes me think he could find it again. If anyone has worked in a toxic work environment, its nearly impossible to bring your best to the office. It’s no coincidence that nearly every player is underachieving, I just don’t see how they fix it.

That’s what I wish we knew. If the players are upset because teammates got traded and that’s why the mojo is off, it’s 100% on the players.

If there’s a weird vibe because of Drury and/or Lavy then a decision needs to be made there.

If none of the above is true, and this is the best this team has to offer, we’re in for a rough couple of years most likely.

Trouba is still a very good player. I wasn’t a fan on them moving on from him, but what’s done is done. He was very good last year before he got hurt, came back and was a shell of himself bc of the injury.

This year his play fell off bc he was playing for an organization that made it very clear he wasn’t welcome anymore here.

I’d imagine some of these players are also fed up with the constant rumors of being traded and it’s probably destroying the locker room. Why give 100% effort when your GM is actively trying to move you? They’re probably saying F u to Drury and the rest of them.

Not to mention the mental/emotional strain it must be placing on these guys which is likely affecting their play as well. It’s not a stable work environment right now and it shows and I believe it goes back to the inexperience of Drury.
