The way Dach has been playing this season, Evans is not easy to let go. + that would put a lof of pressure on Hage right away cause the Habs dont have much down the middle.

I agree, it wouldn't be an easy decision but I've always considered it's better not to overpay for bottom 6 players that can sometimes be replaced by cheaper options.

I think Alexandre Carrier is a very significant upgrade over Justin Barron and it really shows in ch defensive results.

But like somebody else pointed out, I think they are a much better team in their own zone with Carrier.

depends where you see him in your depthchart going forward imo.
if you think he'll be your #3C for the next 3-4 years... I don't have a problem with 4-4.5 per.
but if you see Hage on your 3rd line and Evans as your #4C.... it's not the same thing.

Primeau was not bad last season. even won the Molson Cup after xmas. just never found his groove this year with this shaky defense.

Dvorak et Armia devraient quitter. Même si Savard devait rester, il aurait besoin de revenir à un salaire grandement réduit. + le plafond devrait augmenter, donc 4M sera le nouveau 3M ou de quoi de même.
