Armia is fine in the role he currently plays... all the poop against him should be directed at MB for giving him that contract, which is not too terrible now with all the cap space.

while I tend to agree with this and was not considering them as immediate cup contenders, I definitely wasn't expecting them to be this bad either lol. I don't know all the details but there are surely more issues than just a lack of chemistry.

I barely know anything about soccer but it feels that the equivalent with the preds by adding Stamkos, Marchessault and Barron is a tad underwhelming in comparison lol

To be fair, we saw this in the last 20+ games of last season, when he was given more minutes an responsibilities.

Seems like a natural progression, rather than the 6-7-8 minutes (or whatever) a game he was getting before.

Plus his PK play has been amazing, with the rest of the PK group (Also, kudos to Andersson for showing up to be an effective PKer this year).

Cant say I remember about those 20+games last season or him being that good.

Look I think mtl should keep him for sure but he would not be the only player in the history of the league having a career year in a contract year. And its not always great after that.

But only looking at our centre line,I hope everything works out for both camps.

You can be sure teams will be calling around the deadline for this guy, if they are not already.
