USA Hockey needs to learn from Canada and put Caufield in The 4N - Mashadar
They have a better team than team Canada, who pretty much did the same thing leaving a few guys out of the team, one of those being Suzuki. |

They dont have a lot of good options like they used too. No Roy, Brodeur, Price. |

et le buuuuuuut! #21 for #13 - fidopro
That was a highlight reel goal, full marks to Evans for backchecking as Hutson was caught in the rush, and for Hutson on dishing the pass to Caufield to Suzuki to Caufield for the perfect finish |

In those 2 games he was great.
Much more confident than Primeau. |

Habs just beat the last 4 Stanley cup champs
6 game goal streak for Demidov.
1 point out of wild card spot.
Everything is coming up Habs in 2025. |

Will be interesting to see what they will or wont do near the trade deadline if they are around the mix at that point. Still, a lot of hockey left to play. They play .500 like 5 or 6 teams around them |

I think if a good offer comes that helps with the rebuild, they make that trade regardless of standings.
They know they are not there yet, lots still to do.
Otherwise I do not see much, not anticipate them looking to add.
I mean, before the season started, we said we'd be happy if they were close to / contending for a wild card spot in the new year. Well, here we are, maybe not how we anticipated, but after 10 wins in their last 15 games.... a lot of that has been reducing the goals for / against significantly with better overall team defense.

They wont be buyers, but I could see them standing path instead of selling. Evans is the player to watch for me, even if I expect both camps to reach an agreement. |

The team has a shot of making the playoffs but if Hughes decide to trade Matheson, Savard or Evans at the TDL that will take them out of it. Trade Dvorak already for a bag of pucks |

I am fine with them not making the playoffs.
I am also fine with them trading 1 of Savard or Matheson if the return is good, especially with the arrival of Carrier.
I'd rather keep Evans and re-sign him before the end of the season. |

Best scenario if they get a good return for Savard or Matheson and still make the playoffs this season that would be ideal, need to get into postseason to keep the momentum going |

I dont think Savard has much value on the trade market and might have more value for the Habs than an asset in a trade.
Matheson has much more value, but I dont think mtl can afford to trade a top four defenseman and not deal with a significant set back. |
