Highest paid goalie in history gets chased again?

I feel the Tom rising inside.

- Fenrir

Then pouts in the locker room and doesn’t sit with his team on the bench

He can still get traded.

I didn’t even think of that, and I would love it if that was a loophole and they traded him this year.

Its not really a loophole.

I could see a team like Toronto, who might end up not resigning Tavares freeing up 11m, be very interested in Shesty.

When does the new contact officially take affect? Now that he’s signed, he might be more attractive for a team to trade for him

Dont forget to trade Miller too. Id trade Chytil also if there was a market for him. Hes been as much of the core of this team as any of them.

I dont know if Id trade Fox. As a home grown NYer and Rangers fan since a child, Id give him a chance to get it right. However, as I said before, Id shut him down. Something isnt right. You cant win without a #1 Dman or a #1 goalie, I guess the question is, if they decide to burn it down and get it right, whats the time frame were looking at and is it worth keeping them if were looking at 4-5+yrs to redevelop a squad.

The thing is, I dont think we have a bad team. There are parts of this team that are bad, very bad, and its dragging the whole squad down. There is a serious heart problem with this team.

This is bad, all sorts of bad.

The trade chatter continues, but the energy is so low and there is no cohesiveness. Watching Brian Boyle wna jump over the analyst table is the most energy around.

Moving forward: trade for future.
Krieder is a valuable chip that can go to Caps to help Ovi and his run. Aim for Ryan Leonard to pair him with Gabe- makes sense!

K Miller belongs back in Minnesota- Charlie Stramel should be the target; good center that has great upside.

Mika needs a new scene- Zegras is a good switch. Younger, less cap, and also needs a change. This can happen for both sides.

Still sitting: VESEY, Carrick, lindgren- picks work for sure

Time to assess: Robertson, Garand, Bo Giroux, Ottham. These guys need to play. Can open a treasure chest for Igor before that deal kicks in if Garand can carry over his growth in AHL.

Essentially, there is no fix this year, or next. But, this team can be fun in a few years and there may be opportunity to dangle Bread man if he wants to win in his last years.

We’ve reached unwatchable status. Young players should be getting the bulk of the minutes but coaches still hoping for a miracle from this core. Most bottom feeder teams have up and coming players getting the important minutes while ours get 30 seconds on the PP. There’s not a single thing left to watch for.

Last night proved once and for all it’s over this core. They actually tried and battled hard last night. And still got destroyed. It’s over fellas. Only thing left is the destruction of the roster. They just aren’t good enough wether they care or not

Special teams got worked pretty well last night... and that is usually a Ranger strength...

They looked ok 5 x 5 -
