It’s probably for the best since we really shouldn’t be winning many games. Don’t do what the giants did

This team needs a top 5 draft pick and we’re heading in the right direction. Tom would be proud of me

Wonder if it happened on the goal Laviolette didn't challenge

Yea definitely. This is why I can’t blame Shesty most of the time, his crease looks like a 5pm train car at times. I mean he deals with more traffic than anyone should ever have to deal with. We are so soft in the dzone

Maybe, but I wouldn't think he would get a UBI from that, maybe an LBI, but I guess it doesn't matter

It’s whenever lindgren hit Bennett into him. Something dumb that Lindgren has done throughout his career that I never understood

The way Shesty flops around trying to draw a penalty is going to injure him. He didn't do that last night though. Probably when Lindgren shoved Bennett into him. Another dumb move.

I edited that post…

Quennville might be the answer because he like Keenan was, a mean sob

Coach Q. Bring back his captain Toews. Reunite him with Panarin. Throw Perreault on that line, thats as close to Patty Kane as we will get. Cuylle jumps in with Trocheck and LAF.

Panarin, Toews, Perreault
Cuylle, Trocheck, LAF

Look, as an experiment, it could be worth a try. It cant possibly be any worse than what were looking at right now.

It’s a match made in hell. Why is toews coming back to play for our dogpoop team over a contender? Why are we signing an old center who hasn’t played in a year?

it isn’t the worst idea. It’s like a Hail Mary in football. I get your thinking

Pickle has never thought anyones ideas are good

It is a total Hail Mary. It costs us no assets to get Toews.

As bad as the Hawks were when he left because of illness, he never gave up on his team, and thats all you can ask of a player and especially a captain.

Did Panarin and Quennville cross paths on the Hawks? I can’t remember. If they did, idk it could make things worse. Panarin seems the most engaged even tho he hasn’t been fantastic. I do think he’ll still be here when all is said and done. And probably just leave as a UFA.

Up until this year, we were a perennial contender. Hell... up until a month ago we were considered one of the best in the East. But its clear the core leadership of the team is hot garbage. So you change it up, and bring in Toews with the coach whom together they won 3 Cups. It takes a special person to deal with NY sports. He spent his whole career in Chicago where its no easier to deal with the fans and the media.

We got cap space 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think it’s an out of the box idea he should get credit for. Try it lol

Throw him 5 million bucks and he won’t want a contender. I’d think it would need to happen soon, like yesterday

And (frank) it, trade for Kane too 😆this place would get lively

Not sure this was posted but the desire to play is there. Can anyone give him as much as us is the question. Drury could probably pay him a few million more then anyone else can

Still just 36, may have another 1-2 good years in him. But agree if we finish the season the way it’s been, he’ll be looking elsewhere.

That challenge would have failed, bringing a 4 min. minor and more criticism of Lavi. The puck was under his foot against the post while he was sprawled out on his belly. That has never been considered enough to stop play.
