He was a pending UFA, you don't trade a Petey for a a guy who's a potential UFA, that would be a fireable offense. How bad would that look if he walked away!! - Pacificgem
Did you read my last post? To reiterate, if our management group determined Pesce wouldn't be a part of the organization beyond the end of last season you don't make the trade. |

I couldn’t afford to pay before this poopshow, so nope. Last time I did was when the Sedins played and it cost about a grand for hotel, ferry and tickets then, bit out of range to waste hard earned money on. - Makita
I've found the Royals to be quite entertaining this year. Well worth the money spent.

Of course I would, but, I don't go to game to be wowed by NHL hockey, like many others in the Pacific Northwest (when I lived up there) there's not a lot to do in the winter, it's an escape from the dreary winter days. It's also a one horse show, there's no other teams competing against the Canucks for people in seats. Attendance is not an issue for Aquilini, nor is money.

Some insight on the Canucks drama...

Miller being told by team mates to back up a bit on the constant ragging on Petey. Interesting.
Remember Schenn in front of a packed building putting Miller in his place after he was poopting on team mates? At a time when Miller's game was seriously loose...
Sounds like miller takes things too far... he needs personalities that help keep him in check or he plays the bully on the younger guys a bit too much.

Trade his ass out of there. And Pouty needs to put on his big boy pants. |

Watched the Royals yesterday blow a 6-2 lead in the 3rd yesterday to the Giants. Still fun. IMHO The experience and expectation in Junior makes it a lot more fun to follow than the NHL. |

It's a big problem now, one or both need to go. They will have to sell low to fix it. |

If you think about the timing of when Richardson left the team and him already having to tell Miller to back off is a eye opener. Petey was playing great hockey, 2-3 years younger and putting together a career season... when Miller was playing like a selfish goof. What was the need to put so much pressure on a young player at the time? A time when Miller needed to get his game together...
Even if Petey is traded and Miller stays, who's his next target in the locker room?
He's a (frank)ing cancer and we were warned by eastern media when he arrived here.

Exactly. Kids making mistakes causing turnovers, which creates offense, which is really entertaining. Had Rocket tickets for years, both during the good times and bad. Now I go to games when im home. Well worth the price. |

You mean less people like Lefty. No smug elites in the crowd just good wholesome Canadians enjoying their national sport. |

I’m not a “corporate type”, I’m just a wholesome, hard-working, Canadian who happened to have made a boatload of money in the oil & gas industry. |

If they don't trade Miller or Pettersson I hope they just hold tight and don't make any reactionary moves like trading Lekker, DPetey, Willander or Mynio. - Pacificgem
Something has to give, this has been escalating for years now.
Trade both and move on. |

I would love if they forced Miller to accept a trade and then tell Petey 10 minutes later….FU, you’re gone too, announcing another trade that just rocks the franchise.
The return on both would be glorious, at least in a perfect world. |
