This is pretty much the impression I got too. Right now he tries to do too much himself and lets his emotions take control a little too often.

If he can get that under control and learn to use his linemates more, he'll be a legit top 6 threat. If he doesn't, well, a hockey team needs Warren Foegele's too.

I have seen him on the Knights, he has been amazing there consistently for the last year and a half.

Coaching did not help him this WJC and he didn't either. But again 5 games is pretty useless in the grand scheme of things. You hope he is smart enough to learn from this and he likely does.

My prediction is they sign Klingberg in the next 3 weeks. Yes Klingberg.

He's young and I'm sure he'll figure it out, but Easton Cowan makes some absolutely astoundingly stupid decisions out there. High motor, pretty good hands, works real hard, seems largely unaware of where anyone else is on the ice most of the time.

11 players in the tournament had 8+ PIMS. Six of them are on Canada.

The whole team was crap and they had no juice. I watched Latvia play a certain way and it gave them success. The coaching was awful and deserves actual heat. Don't the coaches get paid for this too?

There were definetely some head scratchers in Team Canada's players selection imho. I get they like 19 year olds but sometimes the 18 year olds are just better.

Sennecke, Hage, Yakemchuk, Iginla were all players that should have been given a better look to make this team.

Ice the better players, stop adding less talent for the sake of physicality.

As for Cameron, feels like the time to hang up the board is ripe. The lack of discipline starts with him imho.

And I can't help but mention how Hrabal once again proved he's a very interesting goaltender prospect.

Either for some weird political reason or as you said for some specific brand of hockey that they think is "Canadian". Other programs have long caught up to Canada at the World Juniors. Time to think a new strategy.

To me that is the best combination of players as far as talent and style of play...would be one of the best lines to ever play the game IMHO.

Always wanted M. Tkachuk. He plays the style of hockey I like most.
