I wouldn’t be so sure…he is overpaid and has an attitude problem. I’d take a 2nd round pick and offer up to 20% retention if required

Yup. And there's no way in hell Miller is waiving to go to Buffalo. At his age he's gonna want to join a contender.

I assume it will be Miller to go. Age, contract, etc. on the team end and then obviously something wrong for him here to take a leave like that, then come back and be a shell of himself. So imagine getting him to waive NTC won't be as difficult.

I've seen a couple of the Ep to Buffalo rumours revisited by other sites , and now it's Cozens , Byram and a 2nd rounder ... that's worth a thought if it's out there

Sabres are stuck in mud & have to do something. If that’s the offer then take it. If he waives of course lol

That said I really doubt that’s legit. As for NYR that is likely still in the back n forth offers if at all.

Canucks on Prime against an improved Habs. Hughes is back so we’ll see if they get crap together.

There are 2 motivating factors that I can think of for a guy his age to waive a NMC. 1 is family, and 2 is a shot at the Cup. I think that makes his list smaller than you might think.

First 5v5 goal for Miller since late October, what a waste of 8 million dollars. But I’m glad it went in.

Another narrative is the lack of shots on goal. I know it doesn't always tell the story, but they seem to be sub 5 in the first period a lot. They rally with some later in the game to make it look respectable, but so often half way through the game they barely have 10 shots. Dunno if they're banking on last years shooting % or what.

Looking for the extra pass too often, missing the net & overall simply just don’t let it rip enough. It all starts off with break outs & after Hughes it is pretty bad. End up mucking it up & lose too many puck battles.

Imo more than lethal enough up front if they get greasier goals from the forecheck & get more shots through on net.
