nah....I am enjoying this, they are actually playing well, not winning BS games because their goalies are stealing games but the team sucks.

Now let them keep improving then add Demidov, Hage, Reinbacher and Fowler in the next 2 years....

If they keep on winning, they will trade their pick anyway

They wont trade their pick for a rental, that would be a mistake.

^This ... it's a nice change from the hockey we've been watching them play for the last 20 years.

Even in 2021 we got in as a fluke can't remember the last time they have played this well as a team, I am guessing 1993

We had been playing the boring "turtle around Carey Price" kind of hockey ... a style that never won us anything.

Habs Cups have been won by having a potent offense ... thank God Molson finally got the memo and fired the whole sorry bunch.

Well they won with Roy standing on his head so it became the model.

Took a while for them to figure out the draft as well.

When Roy was in Montreal we also had other good assets up front, they not only relied on the goalie to win games like in the Carey Price era.

When the goalie is the best paid player on your team, you have a problem.

Well you can thank Bergevin for our 2 best forwards : Suzuki and Caufield.

Also, as long as Molson refused to green light a rebuild, they would keep drafting late and been in a no man land.

I like the fact we traded Brett Kulak and ended up with Lane Hutson, lol

Bergevin wasn't all bad! He did alot of good trades.

His drafts weren't great overall.

It's just by the end he seemed burned out and jaded, it was time.

What a pointless, moronic and juvenile penalty to take. Deservedly bit him in the ass. Dude is just bigger and stronger than you. Suck it up and keep playing.

He also usually ruined his good moves by making bad decisions afterwards. Notably on UFA's.
