Makes sense. He's been a cancerous b!tch this season. It should have been an eye opener that he wasnt given the C when this team was trying to figure out who the captain is. With everything people say about him, it should have been a no brainer but he got passed over and eventually loses the A as well.

I think last season was an outlier. There are a few who are in denial still but they typically are people that never developed maturity.

When your top 2 F’s suck it permeates into sloppy play & losses mount up. Slugs like Boeser disappear. Hughes can lead by example but key players cannot follow. Really is a serious problem. I’m going to last season was an outlier bs it is on those that get the big cheque.

100%, at this point the priority should be maximizing a return on Brock, and to a lesser extent Pius Suter. Start building up some picks and replenish the farm system.
