Q: is it in the ballpark?
Add your own thoughts on the fit & long term outlook. I don’t believe EP is moving just having some fun with it.

Petey needs to stroll in that room, look Miller in the eyes, and take over the music playlist. It's the only way.

Nothing like some Jens Lekman to pump up the room before a game.

Scoops @Keefe21 :

"The locker room is a disaster, and David Pastrnak is at the center of that. David Pastrnak has told the team he doesn't want to be on a line with Brad Marchand, and it may stem from Brad Marchand calling out Pastrnak for some of his play."😳

Yikes.

That has nothing to do with what you said, you said "Canucks lost major skill from last years roster which technically wasn't all replaced", which is obviously untrue.

The production from the guys they added, DeBrusk, Sherwod & Heinen is far greater than the guys they let go, Mikheyev, Lafferty & Kuzmenko. So I don't know what you're talking about.

The fact the teams production is down from last year has nothing to do with the guys they let go, it's because scoring from their key guys is down, for various reasons. Miller, Pettersson, Hoglander and Boeser all haven't scored as much as they did last year.

DeBrusk 17 goals in 40 games.
Sherwood 12 goals in 40 games.
Heinen 5 goals in 40 games.
34 goals in HALF a year.

Mikheyev 11 goals in 78 games.
Lafferty 13 goals in 79 games.
Kuzmenko 8 goals in 43 games.
32 goals in a full year (almost)

Lindholm had 6 goals in 26 games, which is negligible when you consider new guys Sasson & Lekker have that many.

lol nice spin. I'm looking at the big picture here. As of right now we scored 279 last season and are on pace for 240 this season. No matter how you want to spin it so far that's a drop in production by almost 40 goals per calendar season. Individual stats are fine but it does come down to losing some skill and scoring hence the loss of goal production so far. Pretty basic lol. Debrusk and Sherwood have been nice surprises but I wouldn't inlcude Heinen and a big impact guy. Thing is you DO need to include Lindholm for what he could have potentially brouight here and since losing Mikheyev, Lafferty, Kuz and yes Lindholm the team hasn't been the same and it's affecting scoring. Is what it is.

Nice spin....you said they are missing skilled guys from last year, that it hasn't been replaced, I proved to you that it was. So now you're talking about something totally different. Boeser missed three weeks with a concussion, Miller missed three weeks with personal issues, Pettersson has missed two weeks with an injury, Joshua had cancer and he's struggled to regain form, Hoglander hasn't reproduced what he provided last year, it's has nothing to do with them not replacing the skill from last year. Spin it any way you want to, but you're wrong. They do not miss the forwards they let go. They are not missing any skill that they haven't replaced.

That skill was lost on D & directly affects the scoring. Short & sweet of it.

Instead of signing Forbort and Deharnais they should have spent on Zadorov. The no movement clause wouldn’t have mattered as Big Z has a short shelf life and will ask out in a couple years. Guy was a folk hero in Van.
