Flyers right now picking 6th, 22nd and 25th. Can only hope it gets better as this second half moves along. This would really move the rebuild forward. Tank-a-thon has the Flyers picking center Anton Frondell who is a player I really, really like. Frondell has good size and a great one timer. I can see Michkov setting him up on the PP especially. He is also already a really good 200 foot player and hard on the puck.

embarrassed on Mr Snider night. so fitting.
wonder how MM really feels about this coach and team. - hello it's me 2050
After a couple years in the KHL the kid probably thinks Torts is great…not a lot to compare it too.

Glad their was a college playoff game last night. Turned this nonsense off after the 1st. - Pelle31Forever
no not happy as it was not one by design but by incompetence. - hello it's me 2050
Could it a little of both. They didn't sign anybody and they are not trading for anyone. They start 3 mediocre goalies, don't have a #1 center and sent one of the better D to the AHL.

Is he a mucker and a grinder? How is he at tracking the puck defensively? Is good along the wall? We need more Tortorella type players. We need someone to play on the top line with Poehling

Well, replace the word "rebuild" with move the team closer to true contention again. I've been consistent that the Flyers must be pikcing in the top 10 at least, preferably the top 5 to get a real impact player. This is not a deep draft with elite talent at the top.

There is a real opportunity here. The Flyers won't be smart enough to seize it.
If the Flyers stay in the bottom 10 or worse, they'll get a pretty high level prospect. They could have that player, Michkov, Gauthier and Buium. Instead the latter two is Luchanko and Drysdale

the same draft danny and the other 2 stooges said were critical to the franchise. a draft they has circled for a while. All one can do is laugh.
as said many months ago, cant wait for them to then say 2026 draft is where it is at or something to that effect.

And yes I do think there has been incompetence. - WhiskeyMan
it isn't both in any way. they are incompetent to the core.
Nice to see that the teams culture has not taken a hit during this losing streak - corduroy
The room ™️ was topnotch according to Torts at the post presser. They look tired (of life in general),😫 and the grinding style & message from Torts that is pumping constantly 24-7. Actually i believed the Torts balloon 🎈 would pop much earlier.

Poehlings hands are AHL level. A shame as he has a lot of positive attributes…but man a lot of plays die on his stick.

He's fine if he is kept where he belongs at 4C but Tortorella plays him as a 1C. That's not on the player.

From what I’ve seen and heard there is not generational talent at the top but there are several potential elite players in the top 5-6. As well there are 1rst rnd grades on some 40 guys or so. We’ll see if the Flyers can find some building blocks. DB needs to hit this draft.
