Things are getting bad for JT Miller. Only played 9 mins last night and getting called out by his coach. Feel like he has to get traded somewhere soon - TPC
He’s coming here just curious to know for what |

He basically quit on that team the last 3-4 games. Only way he comes here is if one of the big contracts goes the other way. Can’t see them keeping zib Tro miller |

Do we know if there is a trade freeze during the 4 nations? I’d think the GMs would do a tremendous amount of talking during that time |

It kind of scares me to trade for someone who isn’t trying when he isn’t happy. His contract is too big and he will be in his mid 30s soon |

They probably Have discussed zib for Miller straight up and the Canucks want more then the rangers are willing to give.
Miller for zib would turn the team around immediately and I still love zib but even I know that lol |

That’s really the only deal that makes sense. Millers value is dropping by the day and Zib luckily has increased his value slightly recently.
Two players who have big contracts and need a fresh start. Say what you want about Zib but I don’t think he’s ever quit on his team, that’s worrying with Miller. |

If I had to make a call about zib since he got married and had a kid he is afraid to get hurt and plays passive more then he used to do. But your right, he hasn’t quit he just sucks lol
It all started when he had a baby, and Lavy got hired. So maybe it’s Lavy idk |

These guys want zib and Schneider and pluses. I mean cmon take our children too while your at it, Jesus Christ
The Rangers sweetener is what would hold it up. I think zib would approve a deal there. |

That might be the worst trade idea since the dark ages. |

Probably not.
Your missing the point on Fox…I’m saying if they blow this thing up, which is possible, and retool or rebuild, everyone should be on the table to be moved.
I’m not saying to trade him for another player necessarily, unless it was d for d but that wouldn’t happen
Fox would get us the HAUL they need for a retool, and suppose you kept 50%? Your talking a brinks truck haul
No one likes my ideas I get it, but I do think these things through first
Just don’t forget, he’s part of the recent failures too, and all the blame gets shifted to 2-3 or guys. Which is the part i have problem with here from you guys. His size in today’s NHL is what concerns me more than anything, and the amount ice time he’s getting. It’s a recipe for really bad things with him imo
When I look at Adam Fox play hockey now I don’t see a 9.5 million dollar defenseman. I don’t know how else to say it |

Size means way less in today’s nhl. You need some big dmen but most of the top 10 defenseman aren’t overly big or physical.

I wasn’t talking about Fox. I’m talking about the needing size comment.
Now about Fox, he will be fine. Has looked way better the last 7 or so. Next year he’ll be back at 70 plus again |

Ok whatever you say doctor nyr2
It’s not even the production. It’s the wear an tear over the rest of the contract. And how the league gets faster AND YES bigger, every freakin season. He’s done growing and his speed sucks quite frankly |

So is your take on the situation.
More often than not, after a significant knee injury an athlete is not the same for a full year or so. Fox has not been what he was in the past, but your calling him out as not being worth having or never going to return to form is silly. I don't know what else to say about it.

You can have 1 dman Fox’s size, but we have Lindgren also (small) Uro 6’2 205 not physical. Even our “big” dmen Miller Schneider Borgen only weigh 210 214 204. We have a VERY small, not physical defense |

That’s perfectly fine and true. I’ve said this dcore needs an overhaul. I expect 2 new dmen added next year with size/mobility.
Fox borgen Mancini Schneider and two FA is most likely. Maybe 3 if miller moved for a different dman |

I really wonder what the actual injury was. I could see it taking a year if surgery was required, but as far as I know he never had a procedure in the offseason. It’s also possible he decided to rehab rather than having any procedures to not miss any time. If that’s true, and still has lingering issues they should shut him down as soon as the sell off starts and get it done. |
