My blood pressure has always been “elevated”. Changed my diet in Nov, a lot of fruits, vegetables, grilled chicken etc. Last night was the 1st time, probably in my life, that it was 120/78. Usually was 14x/9x. I don’t drink, smoke, etc, so had to be caused by my diet (red meat 4-5x a week, chipotle 2x a week etc). Sure enough, diet seems to have fixed it for me.

I'm in a similar boat but it's caused by being tied to a desk for a while. Trying to fix that now.

We are certainly in the minority lol. I wouldn’t trade him unless it’s a pretty large retool, like where everyone is going. No one should be safe in that case. Where we’re getting picks and prospects back.

I’m really pretty healthy otherwise. I need to drink more water and less bad food. It’s tough tho. Old habits hard to break

Thanks. I’ve also been allowing myself steak once a week, but if I keep it in the 120’s for a few weeks, I’m going to add red meat maybe 2x a week and maybe add some other stuff back slowly and see what happens. Weird thing is, my heart rate is in the 40’s and 50’s all the time (used to run a lot and still run here and there/work out) but noticed when my heart rate is higher, my BP is lower? Idk, have to ask the dr that one.

If you’re interested in changing the diet, I went on the DASH diet.

I only drink water and coffee. Haven’t had soda or alcohol in years. Don’t miss the alchohol at all, I’m 99% sure I didn’t have a single drink last year. Year before that maybe had 2-3 beers? Again, don’t miss it.
