Good blog

Evans should be kept and I can see him take 3.5x4 years.

Armia? You might get more at the deadline than keeping him
Savard is a weird case. You need those vets but he’s slowing down and has cup experience…a decent offer at the deadline could be enough to persuade management to take a risk by losing a great vet

Dvorak will be traded.

yeah, I really doubt that too, the group died with him passing away unfortunately.

tks hugo,
I think you are right. if they can find a way to keep Savard, Armia and Evans... they'll keep all 3 imo. they all said they wanted to stay, let see how much it will cost.

I hope they get rid of DVO, sign Evans 3yrs to mentor Beck and let Hage play another year or 2 NCAA and maybe 1 yr in AHL then Hage slides in to replace Evans

I agree with Davidson being the right callup to fill in that 3rd line spot.

Happy Friday all,

I watched the game last night with my wife and after Pez took that unnecessary penalty I told her this might be his last game as a Hab. I like the guy and his energy, great team mate apparently…but…he needs regular shifts and maybe regular minutes in Laval will help, if he clears waivers. I like Davidson as a call up but wouldn’t be against giving Florian a taste of the show either.

The Habs need to keep Evans, I think he's a must. We've been blessed *ahem* with bad centers for such a long time, not the moment to start letting them go like we did with Danault. Since all teams are looking for players like him, he's not going to be cheap, so I'm expecting a 4x4 deal (or 5M x 3 years or 3.25M x 5 years, so roughly a 16M contract spread between 3 and 5 years). Frontload the contract so it's enticing for him to earn his money faster, get rid of it in the last year if he's losing his seat to a kid. You need those kinds of veterans on a cup winning team, so why let him go to trade back for him (or someone similar) later.

Armia... weird case. I'm not offering more than two years since he seems to disappear for stretches, I want to keep him fighting for a contract, and I don't think I'm offering more than 3.5M. For those reasons, I think he's gone this summer because some twat will offer him 5 years at 4.5M or some ridiculous contract like that in free agency.

Savard... 2 years, 2M per? Not really going over that, for both term and money. I have a feeling he might accept it though, since it's the Habs and he probably won't get a much more interesting offer in FA.

Dvorak, no offense, but bye bye. Whatever we can get. Sure, he's been pretty good recently, but nothing any other player with a lower salary can't offer, so if we can get something for him in a trade, I'd take it. And we need space for the kids anyway, if we resign everyone, we'll be stuck in exactly the same place.

So the person driving the car that hit Monsieur Emile was a city employee for Utah. He crossed over several lanes to make a right hand turn instead of being in the far lane to make a legal turn.

The case is being handled by the Utah police due to the fact that the driver is a city employee.

Yeah, i want to play it through my new amp as well since I haven't even used that yet. And I also got an IPTV box and got it all set up yesterday so I get everything under the sun now and can cancel all of my streaming apps. The poopty SportsNet app is $300 per year alone!!

Sweet! I paid $160 for a year of programming for the IPTV instead of -

SN App
Prime
Netflix
Crave TV
Bell Fibe TV App

and dealing with a poopty Chromecast too......expensive headache.

Oh for sure! Especially in Canada where monopolies are prevalent. If you want tv its either Bell of Rogers. Almost forcing you to look elsewhere for entertainment.

So glad I stumbled upon this. My work colleague told me about it and it was a no-brainer.
