Oh for sure! Especially in Canada where monopolies are prevalent. If you want tv its either Bell of Rogers. Almost forcing you to look elsewhere for entertainment.

So glad I stumbled upon this. My work colleague told me about it and it was a no-brainer.

xfinity had most of the US locked down like that so they just started raising rates. a lot of times without even telling you.

someone got me a smart tv for christmas last year, i looked into the streaming services, chose youtubetv and never looked back. i called xfinity and told them to cancel my cable, cellphone, and internet. when they asked me why i told them it's because they're criminals. i got my internet and phone through T-Mobile for half the price of xfinity and my youtube TV for less than half the price of cable from xfinity.

I did the same with Spectrum when I was living in Wisconsin.

Yeah, i want to play it through my new amp as well since I haven't even used that yet. And I also got an IPTV box and got it all set up yesterday so I get everything under the sun now and can cancel all of my streaming apps. The poopty SportsNet app is $300 per year alone!!

IPTV is a game changer!

edit...Make sure your provider is reliable enough to not get stuck with the loss on an annual account. Sometimes they get shutdown and you are left holding your balls. I pay monthly, don't care about the free month I would get if I paid the year at least if they get shut down I lose a month.

It’s hard not to root for you guys, even in the playoff chase with you. Marty is a good man and was a good Ranger for the short time he was there

This goalie is insane

His provider has been going strong without interruption for over 3 years now. Hopefully that continues. And thanks for the info as well. I'm new to this and any/all info is greatly appreciated.

The Habs need to keep Evans, I think he's a must. We've been blessed *ahem* with bad centers for such a long time, not the moment to start letting them go like we did with Danault. Since all teams are looking for players like him, he's not going to be cheap, so I'm expecting a 4x4 deal (or 5M x 3 years or 3.25M x 5 years, so roughly a 16M contract spread between 3 and 5 years). Frontload the contract so it's enticing for him to earn his money faster, get rid of it in the last year if he's losing his seat to a kid. You need those kinds of veterans on a cup winning team, so why let him go to trade back for him (or someone similar) later.

Armia... weird case. I'm not offering more than two years since he seems to disappear for stretches, I want to keep him fighting for a contract, and I don't think I'm offering more than 3.5M. For those reasons, I think he's gone this summer because some twat will offer him 5 years at 4.5M or some ridiculous contract like that in free agency.

Savard... 2 years, 2M per? Not really going over that, for both term and money. I have a feeling he might accept it though, since it's the Habs and he probably won't get a much more interesting offer in FA.

Dvorak, no offense, but bye bye. Whatever we can get. Sure, he's been pretty good recently, but nothing any other player with a lower salary can't offer, so if we can get something for him in a trade, I'd take it. And we need space for the kids anyway, if we resign everyone, we'll be stuck in exactly the same place.

DVO trade looked good at first but at this point, he is not producing and its hard to tell from his face on whether he is interested or not on or off the ice
