Does Vancouver need a goalie prospect at all? Just considering Demkos injury history, I was curious.
Rangers have a good one in Garand - Slimtj100

Thing is the rangers can take on all of the salary where other teams probably can’t. Since they traded Trouba they have plenty of cap room. I think the rangers have the best chance because they won’t have to create any holes like other teams will, to make a trade
It’s basically PLD all over again because millers value isn’t great considering the circumstances - Slimtj100
Drury has a hard-on for Miller so potentially both teams could benefit. We have a few pieces you need and vice versa. But apparently that deal on the weekend got cancelled due to Drury's stupidity. |

You must mean trade, because...
Lankinen
Sprong
DeBrusk
Heinan
Desharnais
Sherwood
Forbort
Patera
They were all acquired through free agency |

I should have been more clear, via trade.

I am thinking Utah might be a team looking to make a splash, as they climb up closer to the wildcard chase.
Maveric Lamoureaux is a nice young defenseman and Barrett Hayton is a nice and improving young centre |

I partially agree the return for Miller could be a bit on the low side considering his problematic nature. But it's a risk we need to take to get him out of the room apparently. The team played well when Miller was on 'hiatus' so there is that to go on lol |

I believe that Oel buy out kicks into over drive next year for two years. Gonna be tough sledding unless a rookie dman Willander and De petey can play. Which I think they can |

Cutting out an $8M tumour might help. |

I like schneider as well but he's like a half season away from being just a guy. |

Forsure. I love JT but it's time to move on. Just get what you can and let's go. |

It won't really matter with the NHL salary cap expected to rise to $93-$97M salary for next season, which would represent a ~$5-$9M increase from this year’s $88M.
I mean, of course it matters, but it won't be "tough sledding" as you say. |

Also give lankanin a 3 year 14 or 15 mill deal and get rid of Demmer. That's 13.5 freed up |

Sh it runs downhill and it starts with Aquilini at the top, the whole organization is a cluster f**k of stupidity. |

Agree. There attendance is terrible so they need to do something quicken the process. |

I believe attendance issue has something o do with the arena being set up for basketball, causing several seating/viewing issues |

Dallas would be a good fit for Miller, Bourque, Bischel and a 1st or 2nd and move on.
After that, the team needs to continue to sell, sell, sell. - Reubenkincade
Might get Bischel and a 2nd, certainly not that package. I doubt Aquilini would sell his best player to his enemy |

I think this Miller thing is more media driven than the Boudreau thing. Clearly the Canucks are trying to move him, but the Boudreau thing was a bit more cruel as management didn't even publicly back him.. they also could have fired him, and had an interim coach while they did their process. Trading a clear top line center is going to draw more trade speculation and articles, but they can't just cut him lose right now. - NewYorkNuck
Bruce was garbage. My only regret is they treated him to well |
