And by the way, Petey had 15 points in the ten games Miller missed, just sayin. #fuckMiller - Pacificgem
He can only try when a meanie is away from the team? You want to commit 8 years to this brittle pos? Your stupidity actually outweighs your obesity. Truly shocking |

Yup lots of additions but unlike you apathetic types don’t know that the team was positioning to make further trades in season by accruing cap space. - Quinn's Quest

The whole team felt a weight lifted from their weary shoulders, Miller must go, he's a cancer. Petey had 2 goals 13 assists, the assists mean everyone else felt free to perform at their highest level instead of walking on egg shells around Miller. |

So Miller is Petey’s Kryptonite? - Shuswap Wap
I guess so, the team as a whole just feels more free when Miller's not around. |

I actually love the way he plays, I just hate all the side crap that comes with him. I hope he finds success, peace and happiness wherever he goes....but he can fu ckoff sooner than later. |

Truth of the matter is they're both an entitled POS. Trading JTM only solves half the problem.

I don't think Petey is entitled at all, is he immature and weird, yes, but he's a good kid and he's liked by everyone, except Miller. So I'm told. |

Looking at contracts, Pouty's the highest paid, next is Miller, Hughes, and then Hronek. Pouty's being paid $3.6M more than Miller.
I wonder if Miller is sour about Pouty's new contract. |

If he's as nice and good as you suggest he is you shouldn't have a problem getting a huge haul for him. The locker room is a soft entitled clique. If you can hang onto QH fine, aside from that drain the swamp, this team isn't going anywhere.

Oh, trust me, I've been a fan of this team for a long time as an Island kid born in the 60's. If they trade Petey I just hope they get a haul of a return. I've been a fan long before he came around and I'll be a fan long after he's gone. It's just the team I grew up with. |

Maybe... but we know Miller has been told to back off on Petey by a vet leader years ago. So my guess is it wouldn't have made a difference. I think he's just one of those overbearing a$$holes that doesn't know when to quit and when things are not going his way, he takes it way too far. There's no hiding what a self serving "leader" he is. He leads until the going gets tough... |

I think this is it. Miller has his way of reacting to things emotionally, and if that doesn't vibe with anyone, he does nothing to adjust, he just freezes them out. |

Same as me, problem here is you need to take off the rose colored glasses as well after 54 (frank)ing years. Aside from a couple of sniffs at the cup this team has done SFA just like the expansion team that beat them last night.

For sure. The chemistry just isn't there and the give a fuck factor likes to show up late, if at all. That was just a weird game last night. Buffalo is not a good team but it looked like we just wanted to hang on and ride it out after the 2nd goal.
Also, way too much dump and chase. It's meant for line changes, not as a staple to gain the offensive zone. To me, it's a desperate strategy to give up possession and hope a tired forecheck can dig it out and create offense. As a byproduct it also kills any chance of creating offense off the rush. That lies directly on Coaching. - Load Management
Lacking play drivers doesn’t help & I agree dump & chase isn’t good for offence & puck possession. Demko has been average at best for that strategy. |
