Has to be on the minds of JR & PA. Outright hockey trades don’t look easy to pull off given teams want to upgrade.

Even with this season Miller is a 1.08ppg player since coming here. That’s pretty serious production & why he won’t be given away. The Canes trade has to up the ante with the arms race first gigantic domino moved.

The last game I attended and cared to watch was the Canucks versus Edmonton game last Saturday. The arena was filled with Edmonton fans who all conveniently reside in our beautiful city of Vancouver. What was most evident was that every Oilers fan had some teeth missing and were wearing bejeweled jeans, DC shoes, and a Tapout shirt, blaming the refs and Trudeau for the Oilers’ loss that night.

This just crossed my mind. Barkov & Rantinen 2 Finns on an elite level. Add Heiskanen etc & the Finns don’t get enough credit.

I still like the idea Boeser for Oliver Moore. Pass on resigning BB get a C prospect & cap space for Bedard getting help. Not ideal if pushing to contend but gotta be realistic this team needs work. Cap space can be weaponized.
