They probably should think about hanging onto their picks this year.

I don’t think any team would survive what the Canucks have gone through this season. Play the season out and sort through this mess this summer, trade the UFA’s at the deadline is all they should do.

The last game I attended and cared to watch was the Canucks versus Edmonton game last Saturday. The arena was filled with Edmonton fans who all conveniently reside in our beautiful city of Vancouver. What was most evident was that every Oilers fan had some teeth missing and were wearing bejeweled jeans, DC shoes, and a Tapout shirt, blaming the refs and Trudeau for the Oilers’ loss that night.

The expectation of Hughes as a Captain is different than let's say when Bo was here. Where Bo was one tough mother fucker when he wanted to be he 'chose' to become a pansy out there and not defend his teammates. Hughes brings a different dynamic all together and is not expected to fight. Individually the Captaincy comes with a great many things tied to it and it is subject to the individual in question. I think a few in here can't really decipher the two.
