Borgen’s current cap hit is 2.7 million so it’s really not that big of a jump to 4.1 million

Kakko with a nice steal and great pass to Beniers for the goal

Could be a sign and trade at the TDL

Borgen is our Gustav Forsling in Florida. Very important player in the grand scheme of things. Under appreciated and underrated.

This was a trade that needed to happen. Unfortunately its cost us a player we thought would be better and the fans to question it all the time. Can we just enjoy the team and how its playing now. Drury is currently doing in season surgery on this roster. Borgen apparently was part of that solution.

They have 17 pts out the last 20 and we barely talk about it Rangers are good again

Seems like the TDL will be a dud and everyone is making their moves before the TDL

Rangers up to something, that feeling is in the air of…GENIUS 👃

Its a NTC, which means he can still be waived if they need to.

I am not sure anymore hearing Vancouver and Carolina were close to pulling off a trade prior to the Rantannen trade. If Drury was still all in on him would he let them get that close?!

I think Mika for Drury makes alot of sense. Clears more cap space for us. Would you retain on that trade?

Drury is a genius, signing a guy who couldnt cut it in Seattle and then signing him to a 5yr deal after playing 15 games for us. WTF????? It couldnt wait??? You mean to tell me there were teams lining up to sign him??? GTFOH

Wanna bet this ages bad too!!!

- Brukie

Kakko was not going to reach his potential here. They clearly did not help in that regard and the third line should have received more ice time. His value had declined that they were not going to get a massive return for him, unfortunately. I wish he has stayed and become the winger we had hoped. But if this is the true Borgen, and he looks like the player he was in Seattle last year rather than the one from earlier this year, and he is able to unlock K'Andre Miller, then value was received.

Drury is not an elite center. He is best served as a third liner, maybe a second if you stretch it. Bringing him in because of his last name is foolish.

Will put this in my column, but Rantanen is exactly what Carolina needed. A true playoff performer who also has an edge. Worst possible thing as a Rangers fan was that
