Rangers are good again, I might say even better than last year based on the development of certain guys.

He was overpaid at $3.6’mil given the cap. There is no question that he did what was hoped for in the playoffs. Problem is the cap hit was high for what he produced during the season especially if they couldn’t move Trouba. They tried to move him to no avail.

Im happy they're winning games, but as currently constructed this team is at best the team that lost 3 straight to the Panthers in the ECF and not the team that won 7 straight to start the playoffs.

The defense is better tho, and more mobile especially if they trade Lindgren. I think this is why they’re after Miller. Thinking he’s the piece/player they need on the offensive side, to have a better chance to beat the floridas, NJs, Caneses

But this reinforces what I said about Zib and Kreider, and throw Lindgren in there too. This is your highest paid center, and a defender on the top pairing. Thats a huge problem. This is why Ive said if they could find a way to do a swap of Zib for Miller and Provorov (which is highly unlikely now) for Lindgren. Then we've got something to work with. Kreider I have less of an issue with but Ive also said for years Kreider is a 3rd liner at EV in my eyes.
