Where is the sentence stating that Miller "asked" for a leave of absence? - Marwood
When he takes a leave of absense for personal reasons, that implies he asked for one. Marijuana REALLY effects the memory with some

Having something implied and stating something are quite different. |

He was told to leave |

According to who? I haven't seen a single thing say that other than people on here making it up. The team statement is he took a leave for personal reasons, turns out the reason is being a baby.

General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Aatu Räty has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).
Would make sense with Ruthy's interview. |

I did forget that implies might be too big of a word for you, my bad on that one. Personal Leave is something you ask for, when you have a job, just to clarify. The team could suspend him, but leave is on the person taking it.

Tocchet insists that JT Miller is not injured. He’s downplayed injuries before. Miller was asked, with the understanding he wouldn’t be expected to provide specifics, “I think you just answered your own question.” and added, “I’m good”

Or they want to run a bit with Suter on the wing in the top 6. Or both. To me Boeser is the likely first domino. He could easily have priced himself out of the market. |

Nice kid, Suter, but he needs to be trade for a 3rd or whatever they can get for him. Sasson can do his job. |

If that's gonna happen there's really no need until closer to the trade deadline. You'll get more for him and it gives you more flexibility to move another Winger or Centre. |

So guys, this is what happened, in a nutshell. Not verbatim.
When Petey signed his new deal Miller kinda took it personal that it was so much more than his, he was always hard on Petey but he took it to another level because he felt like he needed to hold Petey to a certain standard based on his contract. He was relentless on the kid, apparently.
Not only is that not his job, to hold another player to a contract standard, it got to the point where it was outright abusive. You can hold a player to on-ice standards (missed assignment/laziness), but it ends there player vs player. That's when Tocchet stepped in and said "enough". Miller then had it out with Tocchet, not a good career move. He was asked to remove himself from the team.
There, that's what I was told from ex-players who kind of dug into the situation. |

That isn’t evidence, saying that a random hockey buzz poster talked to ex-players. (e4) from the Roxy |

I just witnessed a workplace scenario where someone was asked to take a personal leave to look after their substance abuse issues or lose their job. Guess which option they took. As a Shop Steward you should know there's more than one singular way personal leaves work. For the sake of the workers you represent, educate yourself. |

I'm not saying that he definitely was asked. You're saying it was "stated" he took the leave, then backtracked to "it was implied". Those aren't the same things.
As Loady said, I could ask my boss for a personal leave, or my boss could tell me I should take a personal leave to get my head straight. Being on personal leave doesn't relay one way or the other who initiated it. |
