Would be the only thing that makes sense for a return IMO.
However, the more I think about it, if these "JTM as bully" narratives are true... he's gotta be traded no matter what. If you're going to bring new and young guys into the room, there's nothing to say he won't start ragging on them or causing another problem in the room. |

Both of them need to go, start with a clean slate.

Would you not want to see how EP performs at first after getting rid of JTM? During the time JTM was away EP looked a lot better IMO, 15 points in those 10 games

No. Not tough enough doesn't put in enough effort. There's reasons JT is hard on him. Move them both i can't believe how mad I am at these two whiny jack asses |

I would wait. Trade JTM before 4 nations. If need be, trade Petey before the draft. |

Speaking of 4 Nations, I wonder if JT takes a run at Petey and takes his head off? Sweden vs USA |

Something is off with him, I saw a stat on X today about his speed, before his knee tendinitis he was in the top 20% of the league, speed wise. I'll search for the post.
Also, his wrist injury affected his ability to take the slapshot from the right half-wall on the PP, he doesn't do it anymore, or rarely. Is he the modern day version of Barry Pederson? Is it all downhill from here on in with injuries?

There was this post I referenced on Reddit.. it's long but goes into the whole injury thing and speed impact and timeline etc.
https://www.reddit.com/r/..._here_and_whats_going_on/
He mentioned it impacted his off-season training. Maybe that adds to the narrative he's lazy or came to camp unprepared? Tendinitis usually requires rest more than anything, so trying to strike a balance of not continually aggravating it plus resting it more than normal... his speed is definitely way down though.

He could explode once traded but I don't care. I'm sick of his attitude and I doubt he wins a cup where he goes cause he his going to be able to play through top centers on contenders in the playoffs. Get rid of him |

If EP will only try when Miller isn’t around he is a cancer. EP the cancer needs to go |

I think they both need to go, but the returns are not going to be pretty. It could get ugly, like you, if they don't get a #1 center back. |

They won't get a #1 center back. Ruthy knows that, basically said as much. Best you can hope for is a #2 and something else you can flip to fill other holes. |

Even a low-end one is a must, or the team is in big trouble of losing Hughes and heading back to the Benning years....the worst years in Canucks history in terms of losing. |

I don't buy that... I don't think the need to get a 1C back is a must in a trade. I hope they keep Petey and he's the 1C, but if they trade them both then there won't necessarily be an established 1C coming back. They have to make a secondary trade in the off-season for one, just like they did when they flipped the 1st for Hronek. |
