This is not going to end well for the Habs if they don't wake the (frank) up.
We are applying zero pressure on their defense. |

Thats a game they have to win as well if they want to stay in the race. Already lost 4 in a row, so it is slowy erasing all their good work since december. |

Well that run was fun! Provided some excitement for a little while. Another dud performance today sadly. |

They've been playing over their head the last 2 months but reality is catching up ... this should make HuGo's job easier in the Spring/Summer when making decisions on personnel. |

Oh they were always going to slow down, but there is slowing down and slowing down.
But yes, I said they still needed to add a top pick to build a future contender and I stand by that. |

That's all she wrote folks ... we got what we deserved.
We stopped playing after the 1rst period and it cost us the game. |

I think we are starting to see what happens when the depth they have going - 3 D pair and 4 lines - starts to get hit by injuries.
Playing 1 guy 5 minutes and double shifting the other forwards, playing 5 D most of the game is not a sustainable game plan.

I have less and less fun watching them play. This is a huge let down after 1 month and a half of good hockey. |

Having guys like Pez who plays at most 4 minutes a game doesn't help for sure ... why not give a chance to a kid instead? |

I just don't get why they don't put someone from the Rocket in the lineup. Having Pezzetta there to play 4 shifts per game isn't helping this team. They need a spark

Yeah, I think they started to suck balls once mr Emile went down. The 4mins Pezetta strategy is not paying off, its really wild.
Losing Ghule on top of that was just adding gasoline on the burning farm |

Hughes wants to threat his players well. see what he did for Petry and others.
it's not like switching a 4th line player would change the outcome of the game.

Mtl plays all of their 4 lines when healthy. Thats how they were able to win that many games. So you are wrong on that one. |

A much deserved loss. - Mashadar We also lead 3-0 against the Leafs not long ago before getting a shellacking in the 2nd and 3rd periods.
This team is immature (see amount of penalties), they haven't learned how to win consistently like good teams yet. We are thus not ready to make the playoffs. |

I mean, most people did not think they would make the playoffs this year.
So look at those 6+ weeks as what could / can be moving forward, and we can identify what this team is missing.
The depth is not there right now, hopefully the taste of winning is something the kids learned from, but back to earth now.
That is fine.
