Mtl plays all of their 4 lines when healthy. Thats how they were able to win that many games. So you are wrong on that one.
- deadpoulet

I agree.

They had 4 lines rolling hard, each playing well.

Right now they have 1 line and Evans and Armia.

We also lead 3-0 against the Leafs not long ago before getting a shellacking in the 2nd and 3rd periods.

This team is immature (see amount of penalties) and not ready to make the playoffs.

yep, that's exactly when the wheels fell off. after 20 min in the Leafs game. since then... pout pout pout

some want the Pezz out of the lineup, sure why not.
Laine makes 10x more money and was benched in the 3rd. rightfully so.
I also hope they'll move Dach to the wing. that may happen only next season though, but the sooner the better.

and what prevent them of rolling hard now?
because Pezz plays 3 mins line 2-3 and 4 can't do anything all of the sudden?
I'm all for waiving Pezz and bring in another kid, mais il a le dos large Pezz un peu là.

truth is, they're out of gas, don't work as hard as they did a month ago when they were winning.
and they sure cannot count on their d system to save their ass. but that is another story.

Like I said the other day, I am pretty sure the Habs are playing Pezz because he has been a good / loyal / zero drama soldier the last few years.

Also, I think they prefer to keep that Laval group together to see what they can do / try to make the playoffs.

I would have had Beck in the lineup to see what he can do, what use is Pezz if he doesn't play?

Why not give experience to the kids instead of having a useless anchor in the lineup and double shifting other players.

Martin St. Louis benching Patrik Laine and Kirby Dach in the third period of Sunday's loss to the Ducks wasn’t just noteworthy, it was necessary.

"It’s not a game where they were helping us at one end or the other.

We still have some, but a fresh new coat will make things less grey / shine when the sun eventually comes up.
