that whole first CD was so mind blowing.
i still remember being at my friend paul's place when his cousin came running up the steps with the CD "you guys gotta hear this. this guy is SO MAD!" - kicksave856

yeah that's pretty damn good, it wasn't released on any album..? - Pat1993
i think it was one of the demos but i can't understand why it didn't go on the first CD. maybe because it kind of sounds a little too ragey and they wanted to try to separate themselves.
there's a song on revelations that i don't think they ever made a radio single that i thought should have been put out there too.

hmm, I mean the Rage vibes are there in many songs, so it's kind of odd to me but at least it's available... anyway I sure would've liked to see Audioslave live, must've been a good show.

i saw them a couple times and they were great. obviously tons of energy up there. and tim commerford's bass is so funky you can't not love it.
i got lucky and every time i saw a chris cornell show of any kind he was in really good shape because as great as his voice is it wasn't really good when he was struggling with the booze and the drugs. i saw him solo, i saw audioslave, and i saw soundgarden and he was always at the top of his game. as a matter of fact, when they got back together i was shocked at the high notes he was hitting on real old stuff they were breaking out because i didn't know he could do it anymore.

that's pretty cool. I'm kinda jealous as I never saw Cornell perform live
to be fair though I started to appreciate his vocal abilities much later on, as I was basically focused only on punk rock and metal back in my younger days.

somehow i think i got hooked on the vocal melodies when i was young so i might gravitate toward that kind of thing. my first record was billy joel's 52nd street so it was more singing along i guess than getting hooked on piano rock or whatever.
