I don't see why they couldn't get back some of that swag they had not so long ago... they might not go on a 10-game winning streak but they sure can improve their level of effort and attention to detail, generally speaking.

Dach and Laine are different situations but I feel there's a lot of similarities between both, in the sense that it seems the issue is mainly between the ears... with the right mindset one or both could improve their game before the end of the season, but I agree there are definitely no guarantees.

They will get a 12 days break in a week or so, so there is that.

oh fatigue can explain a part of it at times, but that isn't a permanent thing lol... it isn't like they're the only tired team with a tough schedule playing against very well-rested opponents all the time, all teams are pretty much in the same boat.

like I was saying, some more talented teams can rely on their talent and then don't have to work as hard. if Habs want to win they have to play at 100%, la pédale au plancher. after a time that is difficult.
there's also the d system they play which is very demanding. but I said I wouldn't talk about that. it sure doesn't help.
