Not really, the problem was Frost fell down taking him out of the play leaving a 3 on 2 down low. - MJL
Michkov is not aggressive defensively and he is not moving his legs and now avoiding contact on top of it all. He needs to be much better than this if he wants more minutes. He needs to be more hungry for the puck |

With Tip out he has to play. But I think it’s important to point these egregious errors out so people don’t whine that he is not playing more. - jd250
There was nothing egregious by Michkov on the play. Even if there was, there is no reason for him not to play more. You're thinking is archaic.

Jett will make the team next year. Frost is doing absolutely nothing offensively and defensively he has been a disaster in his own end. - jd250
Jett will probably make it out of necessity. Not exactly the development the kid needs |

And for multiple years. Hall is a pending UFA. I dont see a problem with the deal from Chicago's POV. They got a 3rd round pick, and freed up a roster spot for Oliver Moore (probably). - MBFlyerfan
Having a brain freeze. When a team retains are they also paying 50% of the actual dollars? Or just the cap hit? |

Your posts are the equivalent of whining to Mommy - MJL
You’re a fraud. Who would you like the Flyers pursue for the next coach ? What would you trade TK for last year ? Let’s hear “your plan” . Lay it all out for us armchair GM. Name names. Give us the name of your next head coach plus his assistants. You have the whole hockey world to choose from. You can’t because being wrong would crush your fragile ego. |

Posters such as myself have been trying to tell you what Tortorella has done to Michkov. Tortorella has leveraged low value skills over high value skills with Michkov. It has caused Michkov to go from a free flowing aggressive and creative player that he was early in the season and turned him into a cautious, safe and non aggressive player who is just trying to please the coach and make safe low value plays.

Ya that’s where Michkov needed to get a stick on it…but there’s other break downs that could have prevented that play. Not all on him. |

According to puckpedia they pay the actual dollar amount along with it counting against the cap.

The only thing Michkov did wrong was his angle and body position out at the point but it's not egregious

So if York wants the Sanheim extension or even a little more because of the cap rising, does Briere move him? I don't think so. Briere seems content to acknowledge the need for more high skill talent, but believes he is a savant in drafting and find high talent drafting outside the top 10. |

Jett shouldn't have made the team out of camp this year and only made the team because of the egos of the thruple. It was comical how the front office, who totally mishandled Jett for weeks including benching him for several games rather than return him initially, think they know better than team Canada where he should've been used. It's not Jett's fault, he should've been on the 1st line! The Flyers under Hilferty, DB, and Torts have become such a whiny team. Nothing is our fault, everyone is being mean!
He showed nothing when he was up, wasn't great for team Canada and hasn't taken the expected jump since he returned to the OHL. Maybe temper your expectations?
Way to many people are heavily invested in showing the world that they didn't make a mistake not drafting the consensus better player in Buium. He is years away from being a good NHL player. |

No….you offer him a bridge deal…and if he doesn’t like it …he can sit. They can’t keep trying to guess that a guy is going to develop into something. |

I’m just happy we were able to keep the whole crew together after “firing” Fletcher.

Welp, Debs talent > Flyers talent- Briere needs to keep extending the roster players. They are so far away from competing.with NJ and CAR for the division. I have questions about the plan. |

No worries. We drafted another 3C. Another speedy Culture guy. When the easy decision was to choose the kid in college that is lighting it up as a defensemen and the wjc
We need culture man. The more the merrier at this point.

No. Hasn’t scored since mid November. Only a few assist in same time span. He is horrible defensively. Torts would eat him up. |

Not sure. If a healthy scratch then another questionable decision. |
