Honestly, its not hard to play Michkov's position defensively, it really isn't. No coach is telling Michkov to lack aggression. Yes I agree he is thinking too much and seems to be afraid to make a mistake defensively, but I think its as much on him as it is on Torts. There are a lot of factors here, including Michkov's conditioning and skating ability.

It certainly does matter. They can't fall any more than 2 spots from where they finish. And they can only rise 10 spots. So if they finish in that 11-16 range they cant pick first. So it definitely matters.

My point has never been for signing them. My point has been about complaining about them. It is like ordering pizza and complaining that the toppings are not correct. Did I want these toppings? No but If I dont hate the toppings and have no issues with them, why am I going to sit there complain about and wait 20 more minutes for a new pizza. It is not worth my time, Im not allergic, I dont dislike the toppings. Ill eat what I got rather then get angry and wait for a new pizza.
