Well, the thing is deportation planes routinely went to Colombia under Biden. What Trump did was send people shackled on a military plane. (Which is also much, much more expensive) Colombia said don't send them like that. Trump said okay, and then painted it as a power move lol. He did make sure that countries in the region will be distrustful and more likely to collaborate with each other and with the US' main adversaries like China.

Everyone knows that no other top players get more than those who play for the Leafs. The entire experiment of doing so while giving protection hasn't worked, it's time to considering changing the formula.
