Fair enough. Just a curiosity on my part. It seems as though he signed as a free agent with Carolina. Then got traded and signed other free agent contracts. He's bounced around a bit.

The only reason Nelson got traded was that he was unwilling to sign Lou's 3 yr deal. Had he signed it. NO ONE would have been traded this year. No one.

Lou may have forgotten more hockey than I have ever learned but this trade deadline was a huge, missed opportunity to strengthen this team with some depth.
