Engvall a tad too soft on Saad while Sorokin leaves the rebound. Unfortunate.

Lou needs to bundle Nelson with Engvall at the trade deadline.

He asked Romy for that if you see the replay. Nice hands!

Sorokin…king of the positional save tonight. I still hate the way we defend when they have their goalie pulled, but a big 2 points.

I’m still Ange in, 7

That would be a break even trade with flatline value. 😆

I think that is more than likely. Without Barzal, and missing some other guys, I don't like their chances. Of course, if they somehow get on another hot streak.....

Damn this team.

It's unreal what they have done. Sorokin has given them a chance in every game.

What happened to Garth Snow's old trading partner? Good old Whatshisname. He won't notice when Lou slips Engvall into the trade. Or maybe: "We'll throw him in for nothing."

Isles now calculated to have a 24% chance of making the playoffs.

Sorokin might be the best goalie in the NHL right now.

The Islanders effectively traded Ryan Strome and Griffin Reinhart for Barzal, Eberle, and the 2nd round pick that was packaged to move up and take Beauvillier

A rare Snow win

What a trade. Leddy and Boychuk was not bad. Sorokin was drafted on Garth's watch as well. Time to bring Garth back?

Whatever happened in the past with DeAngelo, who cares. That guy is the isles best dman. A few times last night he was pressured in the isles end and rather than panic and give it away off the boards, he was patient and found the outlet pass. I attribute the isles success the last few weeks to the new d core. Barry Trotz esq…..it’s like a totally different team on the backend.
