His most productive time was the season he played center with Kuz on his wing I thought? Not last season but his 100+ season(trigger warning) before.

With the rising cap, would everyone prefer MP at 5-6 years 7m or 8 years 6m?

My guess is 7/7m to lock him up he’ll be 35 at the end of it. 5-6yrs probably a hard sell for a player likely wanting a big last contract.

If you're going to try and needle people, write proper sentences and read what people are saying. Take a breath in between posts and proofread what you write. This is pure garbage.

Who is gonna help EP on the wing. He hasn’t made a winger better yet. No winger has made him better either.

No ones holding him back - alot of it seems to be in his head, and maybe this lingering knee thing - who knows? In fairness, I see him making great passes to his revolving door of wingers, and having no one that can finish. Multiple occurences every game, he's creating - but not getting a ton of help/luck.

He needs to shoot more AND stop dumping and chasing - gain the zone with control, Chytil had the right idea 4-5 times last night.

Name a winger thats been with him consistently? I'll save you the time, its' no one - the answer is no one, ever. Give him Boeser, DeBrusk, Sherwood, Suter for 10 games, stick to it - he makes players better.

If Padding stats means winning games - fawking go for it.

I want to see the old Petey back as well. I'm not against trading him either. I just want to be careful and not just dump him immediately before they see what this team will look like down the stretch. There's still an addition coming by the sounds of it and they specifically said a top 6 forward.

The Miller cancer situation and the Petey not earning his salary situation need to be handled differently. They cut the cancer free now they have to evaluate the other situation and carefully decide what to do next. They have time.

People want Petey gone to quiet down the hysteria... then that is considered catering to fans and only the portion who screams the loudest. This group seems to be the same group behind every hysterical episode no matter what so you are never going to shut them up.

You could be right, my perception doesn’t always match with reality. I did just look through the first 20 games of his 102 point season and a lot of his points were mixed with a lot of players. Him and Kuzmenko had two great games together, one game Petey had 5 points Kuzy was in on four of those. But through the first 20 games Petey had 24 points, Kuzmenko was in on 9 of those with either a goal or an assist.

I agree on everything but his passes are not getting finished. To the contrary I say his passing on the PP has been poor cuz he’s so static & forcing his passes. On the rush he simply dumps it to the winger on the boards at the blueline. That all said his wingers & it doesn’t matter who he has aren't helping by not finding soft spots or on the fly on the rush. If he could up his zone entry numbers it would open up his offence. Lastly he hasn’t created his own space nearly enough to let rip or even a shot pass. That is all on him but imo if he got moving he could make the D back off a bit.
