Temu has some crazy poop. Zero regard for intellectual property rights. Hilariously bootleg poop. Quality on much of it is crap, but a lot of it is the exact same stuff you buy on Amazon or Walmart at a 3-5x markup. I buy some of my lapidary tools and supplies there (but not any more, apparently).

Example, cutting meteorites will (frank) up a diamond blade pretty quick. They're basically good for one cutting job, so I get them cheap from China at 25% of the US retail price.

The stony types are just basically very dense rocks that usually contain varying amounts of iron, so they are generally tough on blades. Iron meteorites are what's on the box, so to speak. Just a chunk of solid iron that is best cut on a diamond band saw. I don't cut big irons or stones, just small ones like fist sized or smaller.

Pro tip : you can use a wet tile saw from the home improvement store, but it's gonna make a ton of waste and chew up a lot of valuable material. You need thin lapidary blades and those are pretty delicate.
