He is the worst GM. He made huge mistakes and even though he is trying to back peddle and fix them, they still happened. The team is still the butt end of all jokes, and you still have an 11.6 mil player 3 rd line center playing like a 3 mil center.
If they don't move EP40 they are going to be handcuffed for years. - VANTEL
I’d rather he fix them then double down like Benning did. |

25 year expansion team? Righttttt - VANTEL
Honestly you'd be surprised, they have very similar records (win/loss) to all the teams that came in between 1967 and 1974 for their first 25 years in the league. They went to the Cup finals twice in those 25 years. New Jersey was actually the worst in their first 25 years, I just looked, and they've won three Cups.
Of all those teams, after the Flyers, the Flames actually have the best record in their first 25 years in the league, Atlanta/Calgary. |

Most expansion teams are awful, Flyers being the exception, until recently when Vegas came in and they changed the rules so they could be more competitive.
They went to the Cup finals in their, what, 14th year? And then again ten years later. And then again in 2011. Like I said, in terms of wins and losses for teams that've been around as long as they have, they aren't at the bottom and they aren't at the top. Just a false perception they've been horrible, they haven't. But yes, they've never won a Cup. - Pacificgem

I would prefer they didn't make so many is the correct answer.

Godspeed my friend. - NewYorkNuck
I'm having a home day today, it's all good. I've been in leadership roles for many years in my industry, I have a calm assertive discussion method. I like to get all crazy sometimes because I get tired of being the voice of reason at work and at home, but for the most part I can talk through it without personal attacks or gas-lighting, but it's no fun. |

How about a guy who is apparently sucking and being given a ton of leeway by some, because apparently he is dealing with tendinitis and needs rest? |

I won two tickets to the PARQ suite for last night's game by trading in my old 50/50 tickets at the casino. The seats were fantastic, and the complimentary food and drinks were great! As I watched the players come out after the first period, everyone seemed excited, taking their warm-up laps. EP40 was the last one to hit the ice. He simply walked out, made his way to the center line, and stood there until puck drop. He appeared completely disinterested and made no effort to join the warm-ups like the others did.
He is either hurt, entirely distanced, or simply does not give a fu*k. It's quite alarming, to say the least.

Last year the media was very kind to the Canucks because they were winning. I pointed out that the body language between Miller and Petey was glaring. Our favorite poster who lives with his daddy made a mockery of it and went on a 26 page rant.
So I don't buy this nonsense of the media being the problem and start of all this. If Canucks play well the media will praise them, if they stink they will roast them.
Why the hell do you sign two players that really dislike each other to long term contracts? - VANTEL
I laughed at it because you used an example which was misrepresented... well, with you it's just a flat out lie but you were talking about the goal celebration and pointed out that Petey didnt join but in the entire clip he skated up and hugged Miller first... you were using the end of the clip after to convince people. Just your usual dishonest twisting of whats happening to support your BS. |
