I honestly do find it's a pipe dream, I know Mailloux has some offensive abilities but I doubt he has a high enough hockey IQ to become a forward at the NHL level after being a dman throughout his whole career, that kind of thing very rarely happens. my 2 cents.

The only scenario where I can this happening is if Reinbacher is ready to take the 3D RHD spot next season ahead of Mailloux AND if Anderson is gone from the team as to add size to the 3rd line otherwise I don't see it

I dont know why fans keep posting things like that, its really rare a defenseman ever become a forward out of the blue. It was the same thing with Barron.

If Mailloux cant make this team as a defenseman, he will have to try elsewhere with another team. Just like Barron

I guess the logic behind it is "hey look at this guy, he isn't all that good defensively but he has size and can skate, let's transform him into a power forward", but yeah, that's not really how it works lol.
