the team I cheer for came out with a spectacular D performance and were able to put 40pts on the defending Super Bowl champs and favourite to win again for this year. I agree if you were not an Eagles fan, it must have must a boring game since once team dominated most of the game and the half time show sucked.

Agreed for the next 10 days of hockey but at least our Habs will have to lose the lazy excuse "we're tired" after this break

Oh yeah the pressure they put on Mahomes was insane, first half every play the pocket collapsed on him.

Kansas City defense was pretty good itself, they stopped the run, didn't allow that many big plays and the ones they did you have to give credit to Hurts and the receivers, but with so many turnovers there'S not alot they could do.

As discussed at intermission during on our Habs TSN broadcast, my understanding is Jake Evans and the Canadiens have exchanged numbers on what an extension might look like and they’re not close. Obviously things can change with one phone call, but as of now that makes it more likely Evans gets dealt before the March 7 deadline. Calls from teams asking about Evans have increased lately with the Habs’ slide in the standings.

to each his own, I know many folks don't care about the 4 nations thing but it's literally the first time the league is doing it, so I don't get why people are saying it's gonna suck balls before even a single game is played... it surely won't be the same intensity as during the playoffs but it should be much more entertaining than the all-stars imho.

hmm, they could be winning a few of those games for sure, how it will influence Hughes' decision-making remains to be seen.

I think we can perhaps get excited for individual player's growth / accomplishments, I just do not see the team, as a whole. push in the last 26 games... they'd likely have to win 18-19 of those games (and not give up loser points) to have a slim chance to make the playoffs.
