I still think he winds up staying a Canuck. If he gets moved so be it, he'll go be a perennial 80-100 point, Selke-capable player for some other team, but personally I think he's built up enough reputation in Van to earn the benefit of the doubt when it comes to figuring his game out. Miller just got moved, and with guys like the Sedins around, there is a system in place that should be able to get him back on track

However, GM Eric Tulsky is willing to shakeup the core again at the trade deadline to entice Rantanen to sign a new deal in Carolina. Basically saying hey, this is your team now. They could potentially trade another core piece for a center *no one* is expecting. Another blockbuster coming to Carolina? 👀

It allows more teams to trade for him. A lot of teams don't have the cap space now, but will have more space come the off-season (especially when they can go over the cap).

Every arena is overpriced and terrible. I ordered Nachos and cheese in LA and it was a small bag of unopened tostitos in a plastic container with a spot for melted cheese. The beer was fairly cheap which made up for it.

I suggest you get good and hosed at the Keg. It'll make things easier when you get home to watch your Leafs get absolutely destroyed by the juggernaut that is the Canucks.
