Save 10 mil in cap, sign Rantanen. Use 1st to trade for top 6 center/winger. Brand new team, no drama, more Canadian.

A top pair RHD for EP might be the reality without the Canucks retaining salary .
Much like the Jones/Johansson deal of years past .
