Over the years UFA’s for example like the big apple such as Panarin & Fox forcing it. We’ve got the Swede factor. We probably are a more preferred Canadian destination other than Toronto with some hometowners going there. The tax free states have the huge advantage along with weather & can fly under the radar with other pro sports getting top billing.

It makes me wonder what the plan is for the huge cap space. The Petey situation & Boeser UFA can go in so many different ways. I love trades & the anticipation is like being a kid on Xmas eve. Lesser players like Hog & Soucy types are more chips. We still have all of our 1st’s.

Done right we can get excited about the future possibilities. Not going so far as to say cups but contending should be a reasonable expectations in 2-3 years max if all falls into place. That pins our hopes on the immediate future & what JR/PA do next.

Why would anyone want him? He’s horrible both offensively and defensively, plus he makes 7.1 million a year. He’s a cap dump. He’d be ok in a package deal if they ate 3 million dollars of his salary.
